2024 raffle winner: cindy necaise
We decided to take advantage of a school break and went to the farm in February. Winning this stay was such an incredible treat for our family. Spending time together with four generations under one roof is a gift that doesn't happen often, and the beautiful Chestnut Oak Farm made it even more special.
We filled our days skiing nearby, hiking the trails right on the property, cooking meals together in the incredible kitchen, curling up with good books by the fire, game night competition was fierce, and simply enjoying each other's company with all the beauty and views around us. We were lucky enough to get a snowfall during our visit.
From the youngest to the oldest, everyone found something to enjoy — it was time together that our family has great memories.
2023 WINNER: SALLY MCCASH
It was a week at Chestnut Oak Farm with my family and friends to celebrate my birthday. This beautiful property in the Shenandoah Mountains was a dream come true. A fully furnished home (right down to the soap and towels), hot tub and fully provisioned gourmet kitchen comfortably accommodated 12 adults with room to spare. There is even a separate “Tree House” that sleeps 6 more that we didn’t even use. We also enjoyed a tour and tasting at DuCard Vineyards, hiked with the horses and worked on a group arts & crafts project in the expansive recreation room complete with pool table, foosball and shuffleboard game tables. Even with some mountain dew (aka rain) the views were spectacular.

We LOVED our stay with all of our kids and other family members at beautiful Chestnut Oak Farm last October. Our time was made even more special because our son asked if he could propose to his girlfriend there. He popped the question on the spectacular front lawn with us all watching surreptitiously from the balcony. (She said yes!!!)
Chestnut Oak Farm is a place filled with love and joyful memories for the rest of our lives. We have since gotten to know the owners and are grateful to call them friends.
