Join local artist Cindy Fulton at her beautiful residence overlooking Churn Creek for a morning or evening of creating a summer solstice sunset. Cindy has been a teacher in Chestertown for 22 years and is an experienced exhibiting artist. Participants can choose to use whatever medium they wish and may bring their own media and photographs for inspiration. There will be some pastels, watercolor, and acrylic available for those people who have none of their own materials. Everyone is welcome regardless of how much art experience you have had. There will be a short tour of her house and grounds. Coffee and lemonade will be available.

Art is such a critical, and often overlooked component to conservation. At ShoreRivers we conduct critical science-based, advocacy, restoration, and education programs to benefit river health, but art is the vector that inspires the community to care for these stunning wild places, and cherish the special moments that we find ourselves in; on the river and with each other. So if you are looking to satiate your inner artist’s appetite, this is the workshop for you!
