I scream! You scream! We all ride for ice cream!
Looking for a perfect way to get together with your family, enjoy an afternoon adventure outdoors, eat delicious ice cream, AND support ShoreRivers’ mission for healthy waterways? Join us for an afternoon family bike ride beginning at Bolingbroke Park in Trappe, MD. This is an easy 10 mile loop on the surrounding rural roads, in the shade of trees, and along the borders of the Choptank River. At the end of the ride families will enjoy ice cream sundaes from Scottish Highland Creamery!
Bolingbroke Park is owned and managed by our partners at the Izaak Walton League Mid-Shore Chapter, which serves Talbot, Dorchester, Caroline and Queen Anne's Counties of Maryland's mid shore area. It is an active chapter of Izaak Walton League of America, one of the nation's oldest and most respected conservation organizations.
This ride is appropriate for all experience levels, and for independant youth riders 12 years and older. Younger kids are welcome to be in a kid seat, tow along, or on a tandem bike.
