As the Seasonal Field Educator for 2024, Phoebe enthusiastically delivers environmental education field trips and classroom lessons to elementary and high school students, inspiring them to care about their local environment and empowering them to make a positive impact.

Phoebe comes from Peru, Indiana, where she developed a passion for rivers through kayaking tributaries of the Wabash. In May of 2023, she graduated from Purdue University and got her B.S. in Wildlife and Aquatic Sciences. She has pursued a plethora of seasonal field technician positions with the Forest Service in Oregon, where she assisted in data collection of various forms.

After a recent move to Ocean City, MD, she hopes to broaden her own horizons by learning along with the students about the ecosystems of Eastern Shore.
