TARA WALSTON
RESTORATION technician
As a Restoration Technician since early 2026, Tara Walston assists in delivering ecological restoration projects that support ShoreRivers efforts to achieve healthy waterways across Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
Tara has 4+ years experience with 2D and 3D CAD, and recently received her associates in engineering at Wor-Wic, while also being enrolled in an accelerated bachelor/masters degree program in mechanical engineering at Arizona State University.
She is a 13th generation Eastern Shore native with a passion for nature, rockets, animals, and working with her hands. Her childhood consisted of riding on the tractor with her dad in pink frilly dresses covered in dirt, which still stands as a characterization of Tara today. In good weather, she is usually outside exploring local trails or gardening; otherwise, you can find her crafting.
