As the Database and Development Coordinator, Erin supports the organization’s development efforts through donor and constituent database management, gift processing, fundraising support, communications, stewardship, and engagement. She helps maintain accurate and meaningful donor information and helps build strong relationships with the people who make ShoreRivers’ work possible.

Erin is an Eastern Shore native who grew up in Bridgetown and a former ShoreRivers intern who was first introduced to the organization in 2021. Her connection to, and family history on, the Eastern Shore’s waterways and communities has played an important role in shaping her passion for environmental conservation and nonprofit work. She brings more than 10 years of experience in leadership, communications, community engagement, program management, fundraising, and relationship-building. She received her B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Salisbury University, with a triple focus in environmental studies, business, and communications.

Before joining ShoreRivers, Erin worked with several nonprofit organizations, including Wicomico Environmental Trust, Interfaith Partners for the Chesapeake, and Forever Maryland. She also serves as part-time Program Manager for a grant-funded program with the Village Maternal Holistic Wellness Center, coordinating programs, working with community partners, and supporting outreach and engagement. Her experience also includes international nonprofit and sustainability work.

Outside of work, Erin loves spending time outdoors, art and photography, traveling, exploring local cuisine, and living a wholesome, holistic, and sustainable lifestyle. She is a mom to two young boys and a pet mom to four furry family members.
