ShoreRivers is proud to announce that its highly anticipated fall Rendezvous event will return on Sunday, November 8, with guests invited to the Talbot Country Club in Easton from 1–4pm.
The Rendezvous is an annual fall gathering of ShoreRivers' friends — both new and those deep-rooted — who value the beauty and bounty of our rivers and creeks, and the shores that trace them. Seasonal and delicious fare, as well as a premium open bar will greet our guests when they arrive at this year’s beautiful venue overlooking Trippe Creek.

During the afternoon, guests will be invited to participate in an enticing silent auction and have an opportunity to raise their paddles in support of healthier waterways. All proceeds collected from the lovely and lively event underwrite ShoreRivers’ steadfast focus on science-based advocacy, restoration, education, and engagement for the rivers of the Eastern Shore.

To add to the festivities, ShoreRivers will present its annual Award for Environmental Stewardship to Dr. Tom Fisher, Professor Emeritus at University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science. A longtime supporter and collaborator with ShoreRivers and Midshore Riverkeeper Conservancy, Tom is an influential academic voice behind ShoreRivers’ science-based approach to advocacy and restoration. His work studying agricultural land use on the Eastern Shore, specifically the Choptank River watershed, has led to a greater understanding of how conservationists and farmers must work together to improve the health of our precious waterways. ShoreRivers looks forward to recognizing Tom's dedication to environmental research, education, and scientific discovery.
