This expedition will take place on the Echo Hill Outdoor School’s two historic bay workboats; Spirit and Twilight. Starting at Still Pond Creek and venturing into the Chesapeake Bay, the group will be led on a variety of activities that focus on experiencing the Bay watershed. Captain Andy and Captain Ian will facilitate lively activities including pulling traps, examining live specimens on board, and discussing the ecology of the upper Bay and the water quality issues that threaten it. The group will be chasing after the “perfect” sunset, and don’t be surprised if some live music and poetry reading top off what is sure to be a memorable evening!
