Advocacy Training and Session Update

  • 114 South Washington Street, Ste. 301 Easton, MD, 21601 (map)

From January through April your Riverkeepers are active in Annapolis — writing bills, testifying, and meeting with state representatives on legislative issues that affect our Eastern Shore waterways. Our efforts are supported by ShoreRivers' Advocacy Volunteers, who — in sharing their voices and their stories — make a tremendous impact on our legislators as they get to hear directly from their communities and constituents.

On February 5, at 6pm, we will host our second virtual training of the session. In this training, we will provide updates on the budget, share ShoreRivers’ leadership and priority legislation, and find ways to take action. If you were not able to attend the training in December, you still are welcome to participate in the training and Advocacy Volunteer Program. Learn more about this program here.

Click here to register for the February 5 virtual training. An email will be sent out in early December with links and final details. If you have any questions, please contact Maegan White at mwhite@shorerivers.org.
